The story so far...
In the summer of 2009, the MyChoone Festival was born! Bringing a full weekend of live music and entertainment to the hills of Derbyshire. The festival got off to a successful start with many friends and families attending for the full weekend, although we didnt quite have beginners luck with the weather, we battled through in all the wind and rain and had a brilliant weekend of great music and fun times!
We wanted the festival to be family friendly as well with plenty for the kids and adults to do whilst here, we had Clothes Stalls, Face Painting, Coloured Sand Games, Gifts, Rides, Jewellery Stalls, Body Piercing and much more!
Then in 2010, with more tribute bands booked and a second stage we saw the festival treble in size with public attendence up to 1500 attend over the glorius weekend.
As we proceed into 2011 we have booked bigger bands with huge followings. We now have 3 stages: our main stage, the tribute tent and the acoustic tent!
Mychoone 2011 is going to be a massive boost as we have put so much more into it for you to enjoy.
There is a large beer tent serving various beverages for adults and kids with food vans serving Hot & Cold Food all weekend!
The camping fields are directly next to the main arena fields, so walking distance is not a problem, the festival fields are flat so setting up your caravan/motorhome or tent is easy
