New York is one of the busiest and most lively cities in the world. It’s a representation of the American Dream. It’s where most people first stay when they go to America and where most land. It has everything you might want in a city including some huge landmarks that are a must see for anyone who loves to travel including the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and Times Square.

If you’re a fan of art you can’t really ask for more than the Metropolitan Museum of Art which is a home to about 2 million works of art that represent thousands of years of history. You might want to plan ahead though and be satisfied with not being able to see it all. You don’t want to spend your entire time in New York in one place though, do you? Another museum is the Museum of Modern Art which contains Picasso’s Starry Night painting and more famous works. A museum that focuses on history rather than art is the Natural History Museum which contains artifacts collected throughout history.

Next up is Times Square. If you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy flashing lights and massive crowds then this might not be the place for you covered in billboards and buzzing with people from all over the world. It’s an amazing experience though and is a must see. The Empire State building is a massive monument as well that is known worldwide. The view from the observatory in the 102nd floor is beautiful and recommended for anyone who is a fan of skylines. If you don’t want to go that high but still want a nice view you can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge which connects Manhattan and Brooklyn and is shared by walkers, joggers, and cyclists as well. The view from the bridge is fascinating.

One of the wonders of the world and architectural masterpieces is of course the world famous Statue of Liberty which was given to the United States from France. It is located on Liberty Island so tourists wishing to go must take a ferry to the island but much like the Eiffel Tower it is one of those things you just need to visit.

The massive Central Park is where people can go for picnics, some sports, or simply sitting in the grass taking in the fresh air. Some areas might seem too crowded but the park is too large and if you walk around enough surely you’ll find a quiet spot where you can enjoy some time with your loves ones. A good idea would be to take with you some pizza which is New York’s most iconic food.
